And if you're looking to supplement that purchase with some other items, you can check out our roundups on the best 4K TVs on sale, great gaming laptops, and early Nintendo Switch deals.

The Arctis 7P+ looks like a million bucks with its design and fortunately costs far, far less than that. This model is designed for the PS5 specifically and takes advantage of that console's Tempest 3D audio features to deliver detailed sound, and connects via a dedicated dongle. The advantage to this extra piece of hardware is that you can also connect it wirelessly to PC, PS4, iOS, Android, and Switch, for added multi-platform versatility. It's our pick for the best gaming headset you can buy thanks to its combination of performance and price.

This Razer headset has a lot going for it, as it happens to be capable of pumping THX 7.1 surround sound into your head through a pair of memory foam ear cushions that prevent overheating and pressure build-up. The wireless version of the BlackShark can run for 24 hours after a full charge, and when it is running low on stored electricity, you can always plug it into your PC or Xbox controller with an included 3.5mm headphone jack. The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro is one of our favorite Razer headsets.

Designed to deliver some quality audio without you having to worry about your budget being busted, the Razer Kaira has some impressive internals. TriForce Titanium 50mm Drivers transmit a range of powerful and subtle sounds, bendable mic has improved voice capture features, and the Xbox wireless functionality makes pairing quick and easy.

One of Razer's best-selling headset brands, the Kraken has 7.1 surround sound for positional audio,custom-tuned 50mm drivers, and an extremely green finish. It's made to be worn all day, as the ear cups are made from cooling gel-infused cushions that prevents overheating and pressure build-up.

Like the Arctis 7P+, the Kaira Pro is also tuned for PS5 and connects with a tiny dongle via USB-C. You can expect similar audio quality to the Kaira listed above as well as Hypersense features, which Razer says is something that converts sound signals into vibrations in real time.

Xbox users and Halo fans can check out a limited edition version of this headset, which is also very green but with a darker shade and some cosmetic battle damage. This special-edition Xbox headset is pricier, but that cost has been discounted by $50 currently.

A budget version of one the Arctis heavyweights, the wired Arctis 1 is still a great pick for an extremely low price. It's compatible on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox thanks to the 3.5mm input, game audio has great balance for the price, and the bidirectional microphone delivers clear voice clarity and background noise cancellation. For comfort, there are air-weave ear cushions and adjustable steel and a reinforced headband that's designed to be durable as well.

For 15 bucks more, you can grab the next step up for SteelSeries. Also compatible with PC and consoles, it has a Discord-certified ClearCast microphone, sound that's engineered to produce ultra-low distortion audio, and an ergonomic design that cradles around your head comfortably.

The Xbox consoles are notorious for being very picky with which headsets can wirelessly connect to them, but you won't have that problem with the SteelSeries Arctis 9X. This hardware has been designed to connect to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles over Bluetooth. The battery life can last for up to 20 hours and the ClearCast microphone boasts some of the best noise cancellation features on the market today.

If you'd prefer something a bit more ostentatious, the HyperX Cloud II is a big and padded headset that uses its size to throw 7.1 virtual surround sound at your head from its 53mm drivers. Primarily designed to be one of the most comfortable headsets you'll ever wear, the ear cups have a generous helping of memory foam are held together by a padded leatherette headband.

While it costs extra, you can also grab the wireless version of the Cloud II so that you can flaunt its plush design and not have to worry about tripping over a wire.

It might look like it was designed for people with extremely angular ears, but the Corsair Void RGB is a surprisingly comfortable piece of kit. It comes with custom-tuned 50 millimeter high-density neodymium audio drivers, it can connect wirelessly to your PC or PlayStation, and an omnidirectional microphone picks up your voice with exceptional clarity.

Logitech's premium headset range comes in a wide variety of designs for different budgets, and this particular model hits a sweet spot between affordability and quality. The 50mm drivers deliver clear and precise sound with a punchy bass layer, the integrated mic has excellent noise-canceling features, and you can finetune the hardware to your liking using Logitech's G Hub software on your PC.

On the more premium side of what Logitech has to offer, the G533 is a veteran device that still packs an audio punch. There's 7.1 surround sound to enjoy, a 15-hour battery life, and the entire headset is constructed from materials that are designed for marathon gaming sessions.

It might be a budget headset, but the G335 is a surprisingly great option. Incredibly comfortable and capable of piping some above-average audio into your ears, the headset is also extremely light and can easily work on PC or console.

The official headset for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, this hardware is lightweight and supports high-fidelity Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone:X spatial sound. Each earcup is also luxuriously comfortable and you can use it on PC as well thanks to the 3.5mm jack.
